Lookout<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve got a new lookout post. Mum wasn\u2019t very comfortable on her bed, so she\u2019s added an extra mattress. I\u2019ve discovered that it now gives me a perfect view out of the window at the front of the house. I could stay here all day and watch the world go by. Mum has asked me not to knock anything off on the window ledge, but she should know by now that the only safe way to prevent accidents is to move things out of my way. Of course, the other safe way is for me not to be up there, but that\u2019s just boring. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Helping Mum<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Mum has some errands to run around the village today. She\u2019s\nsaid I can go and help as long as I\u2019m good. Would I ever be anything else? We\nhave to put some posters up. I can\u2019t reach the notice boards and I\u2019m not that\ngood with drawing pins, but I\u2019m sure I\u2019m helping just by being there. It keeps\nMum company if nothing else and I can check she does a good job. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I helped mum clearing a downpipe that was blocked yesterday. I\nstood well back to make sure I wouldn\u2019t get wet. I\u2019m not completely stupid.\nHowever, what came out was lots of decomposed leaves and I have to say they\ntasted very good. I ran off with some before Mum got cross and cleared the rest\naway so I couldn\u2019t have them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Disappointment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Here\u2019s me in the best shape I\u2019ve ever been in and Mum says we\nmight not be going to Crufts. She doesn\u2019t want to leave Alfie. I asked if I\ncould go without her, but apparently that\u2019s not an option. He is having a day\nat day care tomorrow to see how he gets on. I do hope he\u2019s all right and then\nshe decides that we can go. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
