Windy weather<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

None of us really like the windy weather we\u2019ve got at the moment. We\u2019re all a bit jumpy. Alfie was already confused as there were more people around in the house and he didn\u2019t know what to do, then when the wind got up he got very concerned. He\u2019d have settled down much more easily if Dad hadn\u2019t put a film on which involved bombs exploding. I think Alfie thought it was really happening. The rest of us realised it was just the television. He doesn\u2019t want to go outside when it\u2019s blowing a gale either. Unfortunately we live at the top of the hill and the front door faces the direction the wind comes from. It would be much easier for him if he could go out of the back door, but that would mean going down the stairs and he can\u2019t do that. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the end he spent some time lying at Dad\u2019s feet and seemed quite happy about that \u2013 at least until he got up again and walked round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saying Goodbye<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Now we\u2019ve got to say goodbye to Dad again as he is flying\nback. He\u2019s not going straight home, but is off to Germany first. Mum has to\ndrive him to the airport. My job is to cheer Mum up when she gets back. I\u2019d go\nwith her, but Alfie is going in the car so it\u2019s not so easy for me to go along\nas well. I\u2019ll be ready to give her my usual affectionate greeting as soon as\nshe comes back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Waiting for news<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re still waiting for news on when Izzy and Lia come into\nseason and go to meet their respective boyfriends. They are keeping us waiting\nat the moment. Shadow simply sighed and said she knew what it was like. Then she\nand Mum started reminiscing about some of their escapades years ago. I do hope\neverything goes well for Izzy and Lia and their humans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
