Well, bouncealot is home \u2013 that\u2019s Shadow if you haven\u2019t been paying attention. She nearly knocked our Mistress off her crutches before she\u2019d even got out of the kennels door. She says she\u2019s had a good time, but was so happy to be home. Our Mistress has already had to have a few stern words with her over taking my bed. I\u2019m glad she\u2019s sticking up for me as I\u2019ve never been very good at doing it for myself. Shadow is not being very understanding of either my health or our Mistress\u2019s broken ankle, so she might find herself having to sit in her own room for some of the time. She doesn\u2019t mind that too much. It gets a lot of sun and she likes a sunny spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I know this may seem odd, but our Mistress has asked me if I\u2019d\nmind not barking. It isn\u2019t that she doesn\u2019t want to hear my voice. She likes my\ndeep bark. The problem is that I seem to be incontinent when I bark. Bark =\nPee. Thankfully, I only tend to bark when I\u2019m feeling distressed as our\nMistress is not within touching distance. I\u2019m in the kitchen then so at least\nif she keeps a bucket ready she can clean up quite quickly. She has tried to\nexplain that there are times she needs to go to have a shower and even leave\nthe house without me, but I\u2019ve asked her to keep those times to a minimum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We are still trying to get my medication right, so it\u2019s still\nnot very easy to say how I am. I wasn\u2019t sick yesterday, but our Mistress did\ndecide not to give me one of the painkillers in the morning, which probably\nhelped. I\u2019m going to talk things through with the vet on Thursday so I shall\nknow a little more after that. I\u2019ve got to decide if I feel up to having an\nanaesthetic for further investigations to be done. It\u2019s a big decision at my\nage. I last had one a couple of years ago and we concluded I\u2019d be best never\nhaving another one, so I just don\u2019t know.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
