Dementia Days<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve been having a couple of dementia days. I\u2019m driving our Mistress slightly bonkers and even I am wishing that Wilma was here to take over for a while. I don\u2019t know the election result yet, so I really can\u2019t comment on that, but I will when I\u2019m feeling a little better. At the moment I\u2019m doing a lot of confused pacing, standing in the wrong place, barking randomly and refusing to settle. In between trying not to trip over me our Mistress is being very sympathetic and supportive. It doesn\u2019t help that I\u2019m panting loads and drinking more. I know the drinking goes with the panting but I need to pee more often and that is not helpful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Feet Up<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Yesterday our Mistress did a little too much. Today she is\ngoing to compensate and sit very still, apart from taking me out to the toilet.\nIt\u2019s not as though she really did much by normal standards, but it turns out to\nhave been a bit ambitious with a broken ankle. As long as she heeds the warning\nshe will be fine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, she and I are discussing how soon she will be ready\nfor the others to come home. She really wants them here as soon as possible as\nshe misses them, but realistically I don\u2019t think she\u2019s ready. Realistically I\ndon\u2019t think I\u2019m ready, but that\u2019s a different matter entirely. We have had a\nbit of a discussion over if just one comes home which one should it be. I said\nI don\u2019t really mind as long as it\u2019s not Aristotle. He\u2019s actually the easiest to\nlook after so I guess that\u2019s mean of me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Radiator Pipes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I would love a house with underfloor heating. However, in the\nmeantime I need to make do with the radiator pipes under the floor. I\u2019ve found\na lovely spot in the lounge just near our Mistress\u2019s chair. Even if the others\ncome out of kennels I just want them to know that I have claimed this spot and\nit is only for me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
