You can\u2019t know how glad we all were to get out of the car and have a good run around. Ok, I was the only one doing any running, but I think Mum had a good hobble. She was trying to work out how she\u2019s going to do things around the house while Dad was still here to lend a hand moving things around. Her main decision was to keep a rucksack handy to carry things in while she uses her crutches, I\u2019m just not quite sure how that works with cups of coffee. They both move at much the same pace, so I\u2019m guessing\nthat will be a good arrangement. I\u2019m going to keep Aristotle and Shadow in\norder instead. Mum has been really looking forward to seeing Alfie after\nhearing the bad news last week about his sister. I think she will have a lovely\nweek just the two of them and I\u2019m trying really hard not to be jealous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mum has to go to the hospital this morning anyway so we\u2019ll see\nwhat they tell her. It\u2019s just a shame that Dad can\u2019t stay around as I think\nright now we\u2019d all appreciate that. He was at home for 12 hours which was more\nthan I was expecting and it\u2019s only just over a week until he\u2019ll be home for\nChristmas so I\u2019m going to count the days down on the calendar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Right I\u2019m off to pack my little case for a few days. I shall\nleave you in Alfie\u2019s paws.
