Heidi is an Entlebucher, just like me and many of you will already know her story, but here is a brief reminder. Heid was diagnosed as having a condition called Ectopic Ureter when she was a puppy. It means the lines from her kidneys to her bladder come into her bladder in the wrong place and leaves her incontinent. Anyway, she had one operation, which wasn\u2019t done correctly and then a series of operations to try to put things right and sort her out. She doesn\u2019t react well to operations, so in the end having any more just wasn\u2019t the right answer for her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bringing up Heidi<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright size-medium\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/alfiedog.me.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/Heidi-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16832\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Heidi has spent the last three years of her life in our Club\u2019s\nrescue. That has meant she has been living with Alfie\u2019s girlfriend Bella\u2019s\nhuman and has had all the care a dog could hope for in a family environment and\nwith other dogs. It has taken all that time to be confident her health is\nstable and she really is ready to move to a forever home of her very own. She\u2019s\na really loving dog and would be so happy if she could have her own human. She\nhas got used to wearing dog pants, so she doesn\u2019t leave lots of mess in the\nhouse if she\u2019s got them on. She doesn\u2019t like wearing them if there are other\ndogs around though as I think it makes her feel a bit insecure. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Temperament<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>She\u2019s a really nice girl who is very sociable and ready to\ngive as much love as any of our breed can give \u2013 which is a lot!
