It is less than two miles from here but it may as well be a million miles. I don\u2019t think we\u2019ll be going up at all this week. Mum was going to be taken up to the restaurant there for a coffee today, but she has had to conclude she can\u2019t walk down to her friend\u2019s car and then from the car park into the restaurant. I don\u2019t mind too much though, as it means the friends will come here instead so I\u2019m looking forward to seeing them. I have to be a good girl and remember not to bounce too much. Of course, that\u2019s easier said than done. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Daddy\u2019s Girl<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Mum has had to ask me not to sit on her, but I really don\u2019t mind as it gives me a chance to spend my week being a daddy\u2019s girl without seeming to be disloyal to Mum. I\u2019ve had a lovely weekend going for walks with Dad and cuddling up to him. He has been the one feeding me and spoiling me and it would have been rude not to pay him lots of attention in return. I will be glad when things get back to normal and they let me get back into bed with them though. That\u2019s always one of the best bits of having them both to myself. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-1 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\"><ul class=\"blocks-gallery-grid\"><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/alfiedog.me.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/IMG_8631-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"16822\" data-full-url=\"http:\/\/alfiedog.me.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/IMG_8631-scaled.jpg\" data-link=\"http:\/\/alfiedog.me.uk\/?attachment_id=16822\" class=\"wp-image-16822\"\/><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Decision<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I don\u2019t know why Mum didn\u2019t think this a good idea before,\ngiven she is prone to accidents of one sort or another. She has said that her\nnext car will definitely be an automatic. I\u2019m waiting for her to realise that what\nshe really needs is one adapted so I can take over the driving if necessary. I\u2019m\nsure there must be a way to make it possible.
