Sleepy Days<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Well yesterday was definitely a sleepy day and I think that\ntoday might be a sleepy day too. Mum thinks that when the weather is dull and\nmiserable she should be allowed to hibernate. I\u2019m not against the idea in principle,\nbut I do still want her to be ready for action at a moment\u2019s notice. Yesterday,\nthere wasn\u2019t a lot of action if I\u2019m being honest. It wasn\u2019t helped by Alfie\nhaving one of his days where he barked non-stop almost all day. Funnily enough,\nMum even managed to fall asleep while he was barking so I think she must have\nbeen tired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cream Tea<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
I should have started with the most important thing for the\nday. Today is my human grandpa\u2019s 94th<\/sup> birthday. That is an awful lot\nof real years. Happy birthday, Grandpa. Alfie is sort of older than Grandpa\nnow, but even so we can\u2019t imagine what it must have been like to be born in\n1925. We\u2019re having a cream tea with him this afternoon, but at each end of our\nAmazon Alexa screens as Mum couldn\u2019t go down to see him with all of us in tow.\nWe will get to see him on our way to Switzerland next week, so it\u2019s not long to\nwait.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Preparations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
This week is mostly about preparations for my Swiss trip. To\nbe fair, my own preparations are fairly limited. I just need to check I\u2019ve got\nenough food to pack. Mum on the other paw needs to get the winter tyres put on\nthe car and book our travel, amongst other things. Dad has asked her to buy\nsome English Christmas foods to take. She doesn\u2019t really like doing that as\nthey are things that are toxic for dogs and she prefers to put us first. I\u2019ve\npromised to be good and Dad has promised not to eat them while I\u2019m there, so I\nthink everyone is happy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The funniest bit was when she realised she needs to sort\nthings like Christmas cards that need sending before we go. I think she is\ngoing to be busy!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Waiting for a Puppy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When someone is waiting for a puppy we know it can be really\nhard. Our Club came up with a lovely idea. They send the people who are waiting\na Hoppig to keep them company until their real puppy is born. I helped Mum box\nthese two up yesterday to send out to their new homes. I do hope they will be will\nbe happy, although putting them in their boxes did rather worry me!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
