Last night was the second part of Alfie\u2019s birthday photo\nshoot. He has become a bit like the queen in having an official birthday photo\ntaken. I think he\u2019s hoping to reveal the results to you on his birthday itself,\nwhich is of course next week. Mum is making plans for his birthday too and has\npromised us all steak as it is such a special occasion. We\u2019re all pretty\nexcited and more than a little impatient \u2013 for the steak if not for the results\nof the photos or the birthday itself!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We\u2019re having a week with more visitors than normal. Thankfully\nit\u2019s all people we know so we\u2019re all happy about it. In some cases we\u2019re very\nhappy. Today James is coming to stay overnight and Shadow is beside herself\nwith excitement. Now, I know what you are going to say, \u2018Shadow is always\nbeside herself with excitement, how can you tell the difference?\u2019 Even Shadow\nhas different levels of excitement and has a whole extra squeak she reserves\nfor those she is nearest to. Basically, she goes bonkers. She makes the rest of\nus seem calm and restrained and that\u2019s saying something. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tomorrow I have to do another meet and greet for our breed.\nMum has told me I don\u2019t have to be on my best behaviour as last time I didn\u2019t\nput a paw wrong and it gives a false impression. Being told I don\u2019t actually\nhave to be good is a bit of a red rag to a bull, or at least a red handkerchief\nto a cattle herder. I\u2019m just wondering what exactly I can get away with in\norder to not push my luck too far. No dog wants to get grounded, but we do like\nthe opportunity for a bit of fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
