Will someone tell her it\u2019s November? Mum has only gone and\nstarted \u2018spring cleaning\u2019. I blame the Scouts myself. They put a leaflet\nthrough the door saying they are collecting for a sale. I knew I should have\neaten the leaflet, but Alfie got to it first and he, being the good boy he is,\ngave it straight to Mum. To be fair she said she already knew, so eaten or\nburied wouldn\u2019t have made a lot of difference. Now she is starting her long\nawaited clear out with the intention of finding some things they can sell. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the bright side, she does seem to be eliminating some of\nour competition and there is a big stuffed hedgehog waiting to be taken to\ntheir collecting point. I\u2019m just wondering what else she is going to find and\nhad wondered about offering a paw, just so I can have first dibs on anything\nworth running off with. I also want to make sure that nothing of mine goes onto\nthe pile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Not here, but in Switzerland, snow is forecast this week. Dad\ndidn\u2019t get chance to have his winter tyres put on the car before he came home\nso I hope there isn\u2019t too much. Having said that, I also thought I\u2019d like to go\nback with him so I can see it. I\u2019ve suggested to Mum that we could bring our next\ntrip forward, but she says I have to be patient. She\u2019s no fun. I\u2019m going to\nstart watching the webcams on my mountain so I can see the first snow arrive.\nMum has now got some snow shoes so hopefully we will really be able to make the\nmost of it when we go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Just so you don\u2019t need to do it yourself, I\u2019ve checked all the\nlocal webcams and I can\u2019t find any snow anywhere yet. I\u2019ll tell you when I can.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
