Well, here I am to tell you the ups and downs of a Sunday. Obviously\nnot just any Sunday, but my Sunday yesterday. Being an elderly dog really does\nhave high points and low points. I started with a low point. Our Mistress was\nvery tired after Saturday and didn\u2019t set her alarm. It wasn\u2019t that she got up\nlate, it was more that she\u2019d gone to bed early. Anyway, I disgraced myself and\njust couldn\u2019t wait until she came down. She wasn\u2019t cross. She never is. I just\nhate it. I\u2019m a very clean dog and it upsets me when I can\u2019t get outside in time\nfor the toilet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We went for my photo shoot mid morning. I\u2019d got over things by\nthen and was in quite a good frame of mind. There was a bit of a funny moment\nas she parked on a slope so my ramp was a little steeper than normal and I went\ndown it at a fair rate of knots and just carried on down the hill. Our Mistress\nhadn\u2019t actually got my lead on my collar at that point. I\u2019d have been better in\nmy harness so she had something to grab onto, but she gamely ran down the hill\nafter me and told me she was impressed at the speed I can still muster when I\ntry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019ve met the photographer before so I was quite relaxed around\nhim and everything was set up ready for me. Our Mistress had taken my very favourite\nvanilla biscuits with her so I had a good incentive to do what she wanted me\ntoo. Ari is going to have to make do with the other flavours as I\u2019ve had a fair\namount of the vanilla ones out of the packet. There are three flavours and to\nbe fair, vanilla is all our favourites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I can\u2019t show you yet, but when I can I think you are going to\nbe impressed with the result. We set out to recreate the picture from ten years\nago and the photographer did an amazing job of doing just that. I can\u2019t wait to\nshow you, but you\u2019ll have to be patient for a short while. If things go to\nplan, the photographer is going to come to home to do some pictures with our\nMaster in them too. I\u2019m really pleased about that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I was exhausted when I got home and slept for age. Then I spent\nthe evening being very whiny, for no reason I can particularly put my paw on.\nIt was just the sort of day when you realised that the gloom has set in early\nand you\u2019ve been made to wait an extra hour for tea, compared with when your\ntummy says. Our Mistress says that she hates the dark nights and if I\u2019m honest,\nI can see her point. Still I had some time in the garden before it got dark and\nthe sunshine was welcome even if it was cold. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Now I\u2019ve written all that, I\u2019m worn out. I\u2019ll let you know\nwhen you can see the photo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
