I\u2019ve decided that paw-me-downs aren\u2019t so bad after all. The\nbed I\u2019ve been \u2018reallocated\u2019 was Alfie\u2019s old one from our Mistress\u2019s bedroom. I\u2019m\ngoing to leave aside the fact he now has one of the lovely Orvis ones and focus\non the good things. He treated his much better than I treated mine. I did have one\nlike this. In fact it was the remaining part of it that I ate earlier in the\nweek. By comparison not only has Alfie\u2019s not been eaten, but it\u2019s still the\nright shape and pretty comfortable. It does make me wonder what exactly I did\nto mine in the first place to stop it looking much like a bed. Anyway, I need\nto make the best of it as our Mistress has said there will be no more new beds\nbought until we have rationalised the old ones. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I was very glad of the sunshine on my fur yesterday. It\u2019s that\ntime of year where you have to get out in the sun when you can to keep yourself\ncheerful. I did a bit of helping outside. Not only has Andrew been doing some\nwork out there but I helped our Mistress checking all the things that are\nneeded for the character test that is happening as part of the breeding test on\nSaturday. I\u2019m not actually allowed to help on the day, which is a shame, but I\ncan do my bit now. I rather like the cow bell and the horn that are used. They\nmake so much noise. I\u2019m guessing the whole village will be able to hear them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019m enjoying having more food. I know it might only be a\ntemporary thing, but I\u2019m really going to make the most of it in the meantime. I\nwould prefer it to be steak, but I\u2019ll make do with kibble if that\u2019s all that\u2019s\non offer. I\u2019m just hoping I don\u2019t gain weight too quickly!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
