Well it seems while dog certainly can\u2019t live on chocolate, at\nall never mine alone, human is trying pretty hard. Mum had some chocolates left\nover from her book launch. Now she\u2019s usually a logical person and knows that\neating chocolates does not fit with her diet, however, she seems under the\nimpression that if she eats them as a whole meal substitute that will somehow make\nit all right. I just looked at her, as only her fellow dieter could. She didn\u2019t\nso much as turn a hair. She is showing no remorse whatsoever. Even when I asked\nwhat the scales had to say about the matter she didn\u2019t waver. She simply took\nanother out of its wrapper and chewed on it while she was thinking. There is no\nhope! I\u2019m going to have to take her out for an extra very long walk to help her\nsee the error of her ways. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
As you will know from our previous travelling experiences, or\nmore to the point Shadow\u2019s experience, one of Mum\u2019s mottos is \u2018Always check the\nmicrochip\u2019. Well, it turns out scanners have come down in price, so she has\ntaken control of the situation and bought her own microchip reader. This next\nbit may not surprise you, it\u2019s purple! I\u2019m going to be testing it later on. Her\nexcuse for buying it is needing to check the chips of the dogs entering the\nbreeding test on Saturday, but in reality it is for when we travel. I don\u2019t blame\nher and with the impending Brexit possibilities it is probably not such a bad\nidea. It\u2019s a good job I like purple. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
There is one good thing about walking at this time of year. I\nknow the nights are drawing in and it is very often quite dismal, in this\ncountry at least, but on the bright side I can run and play in big piles of\nleaves. I do try to make sure I don\u2019t play in ones occupied by my hedgehog\nfriends, but the unoccupied piles of leaves are awesome to jump in. It makes me\nappreciate the work the trees do even more. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
