It was a catch up\nsort of a day. We had to take my human aunt to catch a train first. Mum thinks\nit might be holiday time here as there wasn\u2019t nearly as much traffic as she was\nexpecting. It was a good job as there was something she needed to do before we\nwent out and having got herself all ready \u2013 she realised she\u2019d forgotten we\nwere an hour on from the UK and so she\u2019d got the wrong time. It\u2019s a good job we\nonly travel one time zone as she gets confused very easily!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Walk time<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/alfiedog.me.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/IMG_8462-300x224.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16623\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anyway, after that she went and did some work before we went up my mountain to meet my friends Falk and Megan. Megan was much nicer to me without the others around and we had quite a good run. She is quite old now, so I did most of the running for her as well. Falk said he wasn\u2019t feeling too good, so would we mind not going quite so far. He has a vet visit today so we hope he gets on ok.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mum took me out again later when it was sunnier. It\u2019s not so much fun without my friends but I still had a good time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/alfiedog.me.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/IMG_8464-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16624\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mosquitoes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019ve been having a problem with mosquitoes. Ok, being honest,\nmy problem is not the mosquitoes themselves. My problem is Mum leaping out of\nbed to kill them. After a while she made me so jumpy that I walked out. I would\nnot go in the bedroom until she promised to behave nicely and I went to sit by\nthe front door. In the end, when she thought she\u2019d got the last one, she came\nand apologised and let me get into bed with her to calm down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We did other boring stuff too like the shopping and some gardening.\nI\u2019m concerned as Timmy the cat seems to like lying on our patio right outside\nthe window. He waved, which really didn\u2019t help especially as his housemate was\nsitting on the fence waving from the other direction.
