<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\nYesterday did not go to plan. Not even a little bit. Dad got up ready for another exciting day out and then his back went. By the time Mum had come out of the shower, he was flat on his back in bed and not moving anywhere. There went a day at the top of the Rigi doing nothing. In one of those typical ironies the weather had improved overnight and it was shaping up to be a lovely day. My human aunt decided to go up the Rigi anyway, so Mum and I took her to where the starting point was for going up and then went home to check on Dad. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
If life gives you lemons<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Mum doesn\u2019t believe in doing nothing. She said she\u2019d promised me a good day so even though Dad couldn\u2019t come, we could at least go out for a while and enjoy the beautiful day. She suggested we do the walk we did yesterday but without the bar b q in the middle. I was game so we set off. We met one farm dog who wasn\u2019t very nice to me, but I just walked on by. I did look over my shoulder for a while when we\u2019d passed, but he was happy that we hadn\u2019t hung around. We stopped for a drink part way at a drinking trough that\u2019s there. It\u2019s fed by water off the mountain so is naturally chilled and very refreshing. Mum timed us so we can see if we get fitter or not for future circuits. It all took us an hour and twenty-eight minutes. By the time we got back I don\u2019t think either of us wanted to go any further.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We went to pick my aunt up again when she\u2019d finished her mountaineering, but other than that I was happy to put my paws up. I\u2019m hoping to see some of my friends today as I missed them yesterday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
