Obviously, my day started with being able to go around to Dad\u2019s\nside of the bed and say good morning to him. I just love being able to do that.\nThen I get in and have a proper cuddle. Once we\u2019ve had breakfast and Mum has\ndone a little work we go for a walk and yesterday, as so often when I\u2019m here,\nthat means seeing family and friends. It was lovely to see Falk and hear him\nsaying he\u2019s feeling much better. We\u2019ve been worrying about him. He\u2019s such a\nbeautiful old man and is the father of Shadow\u2019s \u2018C\u2019 litter, so I must tell her\nhow he is. His housemate Megan was there, which was nice too, although she\nalways makes clear who is boss when she first sees me. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mama<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" src=\"http:\/\/alfiedog.me.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/IMG_8423-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16599\" srcset=\"https:\/\/alfiesdiary.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/IMG_8423-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/alfiesdiary.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/IMG_8423.jpg 338w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Mama has recovered from her operation. It was so good to see\nher and have a run with her. My sister Valeria hates me playing with Mama and\nbarks at us so much. Anyway, this time it was me that found the stick to play\nwith. Unfortunately Mum gets really funny about me running around with sticks\nand made me put it down again. Mum did get excited about seeing the snow on the\ntops of the higher mountains in the distance. She was a bit less excited about\nthe actual rain coming down on us, but as I pointed out that snow has to come\nfrom somewhere!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Gromit<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We did the boring supermarket bits and Mum did some work then\nwe went over to Mama\u2019s house and met up with one of Valeria\u2019s sons, Gromit. He\u2019s\nvery handsome and very like his mother. He and Valeria played non-stop, so I\nwent and found a cow hoof to chew on. Oddly, Mum made me leave that behind too.\nShe can be such a killjoy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today, I\u2019m going to the breeding test here and I\u2019m really\nhoping I\u2019m going to see my Papa, so I\u2019m excited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Love<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wilma<\/p>\n\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"mh-excerpt\"><p>Happy Dog It\u2019s so easy to be a happy dog when I\u2019m here, so many good things happen.
