Mum has told me we\u2019ve got\nlots of fun plans of things to do. I can\u2019t see her fitting much work in but\nthat\u2019s not something I\u2019m going to worry about. We have already been up my\nmountain once, yesterday evening, where we met Dad. I bounced all over him. Then\nit was steak for tea. What a great day that made it. It made all the travelling\nwell worthwhile. I\u2019m going back up my mountain this morning and meeting my\nfriends and family. I\u2019m so excited. Then this afternoon I\u2019m off to see one of\nmy nephews and his humans. I\u2019ve met him before but it will be the first time I\u2019ve\nmet his humans. They live in Germany. Mum\u2019s excited about meeting them too. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Alfie\u2019s Next Birthday<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It will be Alfie\u2019s birthday in only another month and Mum has had\na lovely idea. She has booked another photo shoot for him as a surprise. She\nsays she wants to recreate her favourite photo of the two of them together. The\noriginal was taken ten years ago, so she says it will be lovely to have a\nversion of it showing how they\u2019ve aged together. We\u2019re just hoping he will be\nwell enough to enjoy it. She rang him last night to see how he was doing and he\u2019s\nfine, which made her happy to know. She\u2019s been thinking about him a lot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Yesterday\u2019s Drive<\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" src=\"http:\/\/alfiedog.me.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/IMG_8414-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16596\" srcset=\"https:\/\/alfiesdiary.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/IMG_8414-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/alfiesdiary.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/IMG_8414.jpg 338w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>The satnav took us a different route yesterday due to traffic.\nIt was really very beautiful but wound around with lots of roundabouts, so Mum\nfound it more tiring. She was pleased it still brought us back onto the motorway\nin time to stop at our favourite French service station. It\u2019s got some really\nnice grassy bits where we can have a lovely long walk around.
