Shh \u2013 Alfie\u2019s sleeping. Today he has another month birthday, which\nmeans it\u2019s only two more months until he\u2019ll be fourteen. He\u2019s had a difficult\nweek. Aristotle told you that Alfie had a panic attack at swimming on Tuesday,\nwell he had an even bigger attack on Wednesday and took three hours to calm\ndown. Mum had rung our lovely vet for advice before she actually managed to get\nAlfie to settle. They increased his medication, gave him some herbal calmer and\nput his thunder shirt on. It\u2019s funny, Mum said she bought the thunder shirt\nages ago and tried it for Alfie but it didn\u2019t seem to help. This time it really\nseems to have helped him and Mum is really glad she already had one put by. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Anyway, since it all happened he\u2019s been worn out and wanted to\nsleep all the time. He\u2019s very quiet and subdued but at least he\u2019s brighter than\nhe was. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We are being usurped by ostriches. Three of them to be\nprecise, but I\u2019m pleased to say they are only in picture form. When they were\naway with Alfie\u2019s little car, Mum and Dad went to an art exhibition and there\nwas a picture of three ostriches that Mum fell in love with. They couldn\u2019t buy\nit at the time as it wouldn\u2019t fit in the car, but she kept thinking about it.\nAnyway, to cut a long story short, Mum got in touch with the artist and as the\nfirst one had sold, he has painted another one especially for her. It\u2019s her\nbirthday present from Dad and she is very excited about it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
When it arrives I\u2019ll have to show you. It really is quite fun even if it is not of all of us. I know she\u2019s already got one of me and I\u2019m being silly, but a girl can get jealous now and again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You can tell I’m out of my routine as I’ve forgotten to do Friday flashback. Oh well maybe we’ll do it a different day or just wait for next week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
