Helping Paw<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve been giving Mum a helping paw. She rather surprised me yesterday by deciding to wash and polish Alfie\u2019s car. I was surprised as she usually manages to bribe one of the children to do it. Sadly, this time that failed. Anyway, I do find some of these human habits of cleaning things a little strange, but I went out to give moral support anyway. I couldn\u2019t get too close when Mum was polishing it as every time I did I sneezed. She says I must be allergic to the polish, which thankfully got me out of having to help. I just did that thing of going round and pointing out the bits she\u2019d missed. Talking to Mum about why she was doing it did make me realise I\u2019ve got a couple more days in kennels before I can go with her to Switzerland. I was a bit upset about it to be honest, but she\u2019s promised it\u2019s not for long. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Getting excited<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re all getting excited about Dad coming home tomorrow\nnight. Well, to be fair, Alfie and Aristotle aren\u2019t so fussed but Shadow and I can\u2019t\nwait. We both go completely dotty over him when he\u2019s here. Mum\u2019s told me I need\nto let Shadow have more time with him as I will be with him again from early\nnext week. I know she\u2019s right, but I shall still want him all to myself. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Club Calendar<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Mum has been putting together the results of the Entlebucher\nClub photo competition and turning the winning entries into next year\u2019s\ncalendar. It\u2019s not fair as she won\u2019t let me see how many votes all the photos got.\nShe did tell me that sadly I won\u2019t be in next year\u2019s, which is a shame. I\u2019ve\ntold her we need to spend more time taking photos in really fun places so that\nI can put in some better entries next year. Apparently, it\u2019s good that other\ndogs get the chance of having their photos up, but frankly I don\u2019t see that. Perhaps\nI should get her to change some of the categories. If there was a \u2018Best Wilma\nDog\u2019 category then I\u2019d win as I\u2019m the only one I know.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
