I love Switzerland<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I know I was born here and I\u2019m biased, but I love Switzerland. The views are great and the walking is just wonderful. Yesterday morning Mum wasn\u2019t feeling too good. She decided the best thing for her was fresh air and it really is fresh here. I made sure she was on the end of the lead so that I could help her up the hillier bits and we set off from the house to go up the hill the other side to our seat. So much has changed since we were last here. For a start the snow has definitely gone. There is still some in the distance on the higher mountains but the snow around here is most definitely gone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are a couple of new houses going up in our village. It was funny noticing the changes. Mum and I had quite a long conversation about one of them as we could swear that was actually an old house there when we last walked up the hill. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sheep<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There are a lot of sheep around at the moment. The ones in the field opposite the house have bells on, which do sound lovely. I have to be careful of the electric fences. Mum was having to be careful too as she was feeling quite wobbly and made me promise not to pull her into a fence. We said hello to a few neighbourhood dogs and cats. It was nice to feel that the important things were still familiar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s quite a steep walk up the hill, but with me pulling Mum\nwe got up ok. Once you get out the other side of the village you have so many\npaths to choose from. We took the one to the bench but mum did say we might be\nable to take the one up to the top of the hill later in the week if the weather\nisn\u2019t too wet or too hot. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What a view<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Once we got to our seat it was so lovely to look back down on the house and the lake and see the mountains behind. I love been a Swiss girl born and bred and say this is my country. I\u2019m very lucky. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once we got back Mum did some work and then I helped her make\na start on weeding the garden. It was a shame that Dad had to go to work and\nmissed out on the fun. It was good to be able to tell him all about it though\nwhen he got home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
