We have gone from it being 33 degrees to 13 degrees. It\u2019s so strange. On the one paw, I\u2019ve got loads more energy. On the other paw, I don\u2019t want to go out \u2013 not even to go to the toilet. When I do that, I come in soaked!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/alfiedog.me.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/IMG_8076-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16324\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">My sister Valeria with the pups<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We got ourselves packed up from our log cabin yesterday morning and then drove south to Switzerland. It wasn\u2019t much fun. Not only did it rain the whole time but when we got to the airport to drop the boys, none of the car parks seemed to take cars with roof boxes. It meant Mum and I had to drive round and round until we could pick dad up again. I was so disappointed as I\u2019d been looking forward to going in to the departures and waving them off as they went through.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/alfiedog.me.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/IMG_8071-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16321\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">The lovely new sign at Mama&#8217;s house<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-seeing-mama\">Seeing Mama <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/alfiedog.me.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/IMG_8077-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16323\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">There&#8217;s nothing like Mama&#8217;s welcome<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We drove home and unpacked the car and once we were sorted out we went to see Mama, Valeria and my new nieces and nephews. It was wonderful. Valeria was so generous and even let me help a little bit. Mum said that watching me made her feel very sad that I couldn\u2019t have puppies of my own, but it\u2019s ok, I don\u2019t mind too much. Dad spent all his time having puppy cuddles and Mum held me close and told me there\u2019s no dog in the world better than me. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-jobs\">Jobs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You would not believe the list of jobs that Mum has made of\nthings that need doing. On the bright side, one of the top ones is weeding the\ngarden so we will at least be outdoors for that one. I\u2019m less keen on helping\nwith some of the others. She has asked where I\u2019d like to walk today so I\u2019m\nhoping to be going to one of my very favourite places. Actually, I think I\nshall be going to at least two as Dad wants to come for a walk this evening\ntoo.
