Well it\u2019s all change again. This whole stairs thing is getting\nannoying. I don\u2019t often go in a crate, but just once in a while I do. My crate\nis up in our Mistress\u2019s office. It\u2019s only five or six stairs up. It\u2019s one less\nthan coming in from the back door and you\u2019d think that would make it ok. It isn\u2019t.\nThe back door has wider steps and I can take a bit of a run up at them to get\nsome momentum going. The ones to the office don\u2019t give me that opportunity on\nthe way up and I tend to beach at about the half way mark. Anyway, we\u2019ve\nworking out a solution. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
My big bed moved down from upstairs and is behind the dining\ntable in the kitchen. As it turns out, Shadow keeps pinching that. Then our\nMistress put a second bed in for me in the doorway to the dining room. Thankfully\nno one really goes in there, so I don\u2019t get trodden on very often. The fridge\nis one side and the cooker the other and it gives a nice little alcove that\nfeels all very secure. What we\u2019re going to do is put my crate where my main bed\nwas and simply tell Shadow she needs to go in her own bed. Then I can have my\ncrate where my big bed was. I\u2019ve still got to negotiate the big bed being where\nI want it as it would be a bit in the way, so I may have to make do with my old\none, but that\u2019s ok.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The real challenge is that my crate is under our Mistress\u2019s\ndesk. To get it out, our Mistress will need to take everything off her desk to\nlift it out. That would be so much easier if she kept her desk tidy, but she\nhas an \u2018organised chaos\u2019 sort of approach. It works for her, but is a bit inconvenient\nat times like this!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This getting old lark is a bit of a challenge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
