I have regrets. Mainly, they are the large number of things I\nate in the garden yesterday afternoon. Sadly, I returned them all and my tea.\nBeing a dog, I did my best to re-eat my tea, but that just grossed our Mistress\nout completely. You\u2019d think she had got used to that one by now. I don\u2019t know\nwhich particular plant led to me feeling ill. I didn\u2019t keep an absolute list.\nIt was one of those balmy afternoons where you graze your way around the garden\nwithout thinking too much about it. I think one of the plants must have been\noff, so it\u2019s probably as well that it\u2019s not growing anymore. I was a bit quiet\nafterwards, but I\u2019m sure by later today I will be back to having a nibble or\ntwo as I wander round. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Shadow had some good news yesterday. Her brother who we\nthought had cancer turns out to have had a particularly bad abscess and has\nbeen recovering well. He\u2019s back to barking at full volume and if it\u2019s half as\nloud as Shadow then he\u2019s very noisy. He\u2019s my uncle so I sometimes wish I could\nsee him, but sadly he doesn\u2019t live in this country anymore. We\u2019re all really\npleased that he\u2019s doing well though. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Once again the dogs of the house are missing out. Our Mistress\nis going to Pimms and Strawberries on the village green. We are not invited.\nOk, so I don\u2019t drink Pimms, but I can eat strawberries as well as the next dog\nand it would have been nice to be asked. Not even Wilma is going. We\u2019re\nsupposed to stay here and twiddle our paws. I wonder if our Mistress will bring\nany home for us. Not the Pimms you understand \u2013 she definitely won\u2019t bring any\nof that home for us, but a strawberry or two would be nice. I\u2019ll skip the cream\nand sugar as I\u2019m watching my waistline, but the fruit would be ok.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
