I\u2019ve got Monday morning blues. I always feel like that when\nDad goes back to Switzerland. I miss him loads. It\u2019s so funny, he lets me get\naway with just about anything, even being prepared to leave enough room in the\nbed for me to stay there all night. One thing that is part of us being herding\ndogs is that we like our herd to stay together. Ok, so we don\u2019t have any cows\nto keep together, but in their absence, we do rather like to keep our humans\ntogether. That can be funny on a walk as we basically decide everyone is part\nof our herd and try to keep them in one area. The other week, I did by mistake try\nadding in one or two humans who hadn\u2019t actually started with our group, but\nthey seemed to see the funny side. Thankfully, I didn\u2019t go as far as any ankle\nnipping or body slams when they tried to go their own way. They might have been\nless amused if I had.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019m actually starting the count down to holiday and then going\nto Switzerland, at least for a day or two. Holiday is a week in the Black\nForest in Germany. It\u2019s just me and the humans. I\u2019ll have fun herding as there\nwill be six humans and only one of me. It seems like ages since I\u2019ve been away\nso I\u2019m getting excited even though it is still about four weeks away. Don\u2019t get\nme wrong, I do have some fun things planned in my diary before that, but having\nall that time with Mum and Dad will be wonderful. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Have I told you that I\u2019m going to get chance to learn to play\nTreibball before the holiday? That\u2019s all happening a week next Saturday. If you\ndon\u2019t know, Treibball is a sport which is like herding but where we work with\ngreat big balls and have to try to get them into a net. None of us has ever done\nit before and I think we\u2019re all excited. All being my Entlebucher friends as it\u2019s\nout next fun day. Shadow is going to have a go too, as long as her hip is\nfeeling a bit better. I will of course get Mum to take some photos to show you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
