Shadow is a stoic little dog. She has not complained about\nhaving to have injections either on Tuesday or yesterday. The good news is that\nwe think the inflammation may be starting to go down and she is at least eating\na little more now. It will be a few days before we can be sure she\u2019s on the\nmend, but we are really hoping she is. She will have special food until she\u2019s\nabsolutely ok. The bit she\u2019s really fed up with is having to sleep downstairs\nuntil there\u2019s no risk of her having upset stomachs. The bit I\u2019m most upset by\nis the smell when she farts! Mind you, our Mistress keeps leaving the fan on in\nthe kitchen to get rid of the smell as best as possible. Shadow was very\nindignant earlier when I commented on how she smelt!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I quite enjoyed yesterday\u2019s swimming. Ari didn\u2019t want to go.\nHe did everything he could to make a run for it, but our Mistress knows to\nexpect that so he didn\u2019t get far. He\u2019s really funny, because when he actually\ngets into the water he takes the actual swimming more seriously than the rest\nof us do. To him, it\u2019s a job. He\u2019s a working dog and from when he gets into the\nwater to when he gets out he knows he simply has to swim up and down the pool.\nI am a bit more relaxed about it. Only Shadow really sees it as a game when she\ngoes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ari and I both got on the scales at the swimming pool,\nseparately you understand. Both of us were pleased to find we\u2019d lost a little\nweight. I was just under 30kg and Ari was down to 26.7kg. He says he hasn\u2019t\nbeen that weight for years. This whole diet thing seems to be catching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
