I am so excited about this weekend. Shadow being Shadow is\ntaking it all in her stride. She\u2019s reached that age when she seems to look down\nher nose in disdain at quite a few things. Mum says I shouldn\u2019t take it\npersonally as she\u2019s been looking down her nose in disdain for most of her life.\nI guess to be fair to Shadow she did hear that one of her brothers is very ill\nso she\u2019s probably quite quiet as a result of that too. I tried to play with her\nyesterday, but I didn\u2019t get very far. Even when I barked at her she just walked\naway. Ah well, I know she\u2019ll perk up when we get to the celebrations this\nafternoon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Alfie had a really funny night the other night. He\u2019d got out\nof his bed and gone to sleep by the side of Mum. He was very deeply asleep and\ndreaming. As he was doing so, he was kicking his back legs out and hitting them\nagainst the wardrobe door. He woke both Mum and me and then Mum tried to wake\nhim to get him to go back to bed, but he was totally out of it. Thankfully, he\ndid at least stop kicking his legs even though he didn\u2019t wake up until later. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I need to go for a weigh in at the vet to see if I\u2019ve lost any\nof the weight I\u2019m supposed to be losing. Mum is doing really well and putting\nme to shame. Our sponsors will only pay if I lose what I\u2019ve got to lose as\nwell, so Mum has told me I need to buck my ideas up. Humans can be so boring. I\nguess if she\u2019s managing to resist chocolate and cakes then I probably have to\nat least show a little commitment. The sooner the weight is lost the sooner I\ncan go back to my normal food. You do think she\u2019ll let me go back to that don\u2019t\nyou? I did so like it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
