Well I\u2019ve survived another month. I\u2019m now 13 years and seven\nmonths old. I\u2019m definitely nearer to fourteen than thirteen now which is\nexciting but rather scary. I had a bad day yesterday. There was a bit of a pee\nand poo incident in the kitchen. When I say \u2018a bit\u2019 I really mean \u2018a lot\u2019. It\nseems to be when I\u2019ve been deeply asleep and wake up suddenly needing the toilet,\nI just don\u2019t get a lot of warning anymore. It makes it much harder to know when\nto go out. If our Mistress isn\u2019t around at those times it just all goes wrong.\nShe never gets cross about it, but I really feel bad afterwards. I\u2019ve always\nprided myself on being such a clean dog. Even as a puppy\u2026 except for the door mat.\nI used to have a bit of a thing about the door mat. Maybe the rug too \u2013 they seemed\ntoo much like grass. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our Mistress counted yesterday as a major success. It\u2019s the\nfirst day in a while that she has managed to walk everyone and not get the\ntiming wrong. She didn\u2019t get wet on any of her walks yesterday and had only\nbeen back from Wilma\u2019s walk for five minutes when the rain started. She has to\ngo out for some of today so she may not be able to get her timings quite so right.\nIt\u2019s a good game. I just can\u2019t believe the weather is so cold and wet. I think\nwe\u2019d all benefit from a bit of sunshine on our fur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When our shopping arrived yesterday there were an awful lot of\neggs in it. It\u2019s not as though our Mistress is planning to do any cooking. They\nare all for the village fete and the egg throwing contest. The things humans\ndevise to entertain themselves never cease to amaze me. Why not just chase a\nball? We can do that for hours. Thinking about it, I suppose humans do a fair\namount of that too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
