Confusion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

One of the worst parts about my dementia is the confusion. It\u2019s not all the time, but every so often it is like I\u2019ve gone back in time and the last few years haven\u2019t happened. When I left the kennels yesterday I went straight to where the office and exit used to be. I was quite convinced that\u2019s where I should be going to get out. They gently put me right of course, but it leaves me feeling a bit flustered when it happens. I had a few moments later in the day as well when I just didn\u2019t want to go where I was expected to go. It really is a bit difficult for me as well as everyone else when I\u2019m feeling like that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entlebucher Club<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This week is a very important week for our breed here in the\nUK. It was ten years ago this week that I peed on the leg of one of the other\nowners. Of course, it\u2019s not actually the anniversary of me peeing on Mike that\nwe\u2019re celebrating, it\u2019s the formation of the Entlebucher Mountain Dog Club of\nGreat Britain. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It all began in our garden, although not the house we are in\nnow, but the one we lived in when we first came to the village. That was when\nme and Guapo, Eika, Queenie, Orson and Shadow said it was time for us to get\nour humans to do something. Sadly, Guapo and Queenie are not around to\ncelebrate with us. I lost touch with Eika when she moved back to Switzerland\nand we don\u2019t see Orson so often now. Shadow however will be attending the celebrations\nin person and will be representing me as well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The celebrations aren\u2019t actually happening here where it began\nbut that won\u2019t stop me raising my water bowl in a toast to the work we\u2019ve done\nover that time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
