We\u2019re all excited dogs. Three of us are excited for the same reason and Shadow is just permanently excited. Anyway, the three of us are all excited about our Mistress\u2019s new chair that\u2019s arriving this morning. It\u2019s big enough for her and one dog and she\u2019s promised we can all take turns sitting in it with her. It\u2019s called a \u2018cuddler\u2019 chair so you get the general idea. I\u2019m just hoping I can get up onto it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
She has said she\u2019ll bring the steps through for me so I can try\nit, but if I\u2019m honest I\u2019m not overly happy with the steps we\u2019ve got. They are\nspecial ones for dogs. In that they are good. But whoever designed them thought\nit would be a good thing to make each step slope so that you go up further than\nif they were flat. Now, I don\u2019t know about you, but if you need something like\nthat to help with your mobility then adding the disorientating problem of\nfinding they slope is just not helpful. There is a reason staircases that are\nnot designed that way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We did have a good time at swimming yesterday, Shadow and I. I was calmer than I\u2019ve been for a few weeks which very much helped. Shadow just couldn\u2019t stop smiling even in anticipation of getting into the pool. She\u2019s a funny little thing when she\u2019s like that. I did look at her yesterday and think she was starting to look older. I know I\u2019m even older, but you don\u2019t always notice it in those around you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n On the bright side, I got on the scales at swimming and found\nI was a little trimmer than I\u2019d thought. It\u2019s not that at my age I value my\nwaistline, it\u2019s more that it means our Mistress will give me more treats if she\nknows I\u2019m not overweight.
