Well there\u2019s no beach for little old me. No woodland walk. No\nspecial \u2018lots of time out and about\u2019. I went to the vet yesterday morning and I\nneed to have my elbow x-rayed. I had to admit to being in quite a lot of pain\nwhen she tried to examine me. Then the vet said could Mum check to make sure I\nwasn\u2019t just flinching because I didn\u2019t know her that well. Duh, I\u2019m a friendly\ndog. I was flinching because it really really hurt. I even flinched when Mum touched\nmy elbow and I love being touched by Mum. I\u2019m never happier than when we are\nconnected. She\u2019s the same. So, Mum was really apologetic that we couldn\u2019t go to\nthe beach. She weighed me while I was at the vet and I haven\u2019t exactly gone\ndown in weight either. That wasn\u2019t good news. I was trying to argue my food\ncould be increased again and now that I have to rest it\u2019s actually going to be\nreduced! How bad is that?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We\u2019re still having time together and to be fair Mum is pretty\nupset that I\u2019m in pain. Bless she keeps offering to lift me to stop me jumping.\nHave you ever tried to stop an Entlebucher jumping? It\u2019s in our blood. We just\ncan\u2019t help ourselves. Anyway, I\u2019m on anti-inflammatories and lots of cuddles.\nWe\u2019re going to see Grandpa today so at least I feel like I\u2019m doing something.\nSitting still just doesn\u2019t come naturally to me. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mum and I are spending some time sitting in the garden too and\nthat\u2019s nice, but it\u2019s not as good as going to the beach would have been. I\nsuppose I feel a bit more sorry for Aristotle now and realise how hard life\nmust be for him. Perhaps I\u2019ll start being a bit nicer to him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
