13 \u00bd<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A very happy 13 \u00bd birthday to Alfie. He\u2019s planning to spend\nhis half birthday quietly napping in the kitchen. I suspect Mum may spoil him\njust a little bit but she does that most days. I think he\u2019s planning to try to\nget in touch with his sisters to see how they are and really does hope they are\nstill doing ok. I don\u2019t think he\u2019s heard from them since their thirteenth\nbirthday and by this age every day is precious. He has been recommending\nturmeric as a supplement to everyone he knows with any problems of arthritis,\nincluding one of our family who\u2019s a cat! You know what they say, you can choose\nyour friends but you can\u2019t choose your family! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dad meets Sloth<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

After Mum called her sloth after Dad we had to take a photo so\nyou could see the likeness. Of course they both look cute, but Dad is definitely\nthe better of the two, at least as far as I\u2019m concerned. The sloth hasn\u2019t\ntickled my tummy once since he arrived in the family. Mum did take a picture of\none of the lions rolled on her back looking like she wanted her tummy tickled,\nbut thankfully there was a barrier to stop Mum from trying! It could have gone\nhorribly wrong. What was good news was that Mum said when she was looking\nthrough the photos on her camera there were still some of me from our last trip\nthere too and she realised just how much she was missing me. I\u2019m not likely to\nbe replaced by a lion or a sloth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Summerhouse<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Mum\u2019s office setup for the summerhouse is complete. As long as\nthe weather stays good we\u2019ve been promised lots of outdoor time. It\u2019s funny as\nthe seeds have all fallen off the tree at the bottom of the garden and made it\nlook like it\u2019s been snowing. I just love running around the grass through all\nthe white bits and sending them everywhere. It\u2019s just such good fun. I\u2019ll try\nto take some photos of that for you before it all gets cleared away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
