A Sloth Called Chris<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We now have a sloth called Chris as part of the family. You\nwill be pleased to here it is not a live sloth, just a stuffed toy. Of course,\nyou won\u2019t be as pleased as we were to learn that fact! Why Chris? Well, that\u2019s\nour Master\u2019s name and as I told you there has been a long family joke that sloths\nremind our Mistress of our Master. So now, Chris the sloth is going to be\nsitting on our Master\u2019s side of the bed when he\u2019s not in residence. I\u2019m not\ncompletely sure where he\u2019s going to be sitting when our Master is at home. The\nother possibility is that he\u2019s going to be sitting in the passenger seat of the\ncar when our Mistress is out and about as he\u2019ll cheer her up then too. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To be quite honest we\u2019re just pleased that\u2019s all she brought\nhome with her, seeing as there were things there that would eat us all at a moment\u2019s\nnotice. On balance, I think I\u2019m probably glad we didn\u2019t go. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Getting excited<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Now we\u2019re all getting excited as our Master will be home from\nTuesday for the rest of the week. It will be the longest we\u2019ve had him around\nfor ages. Anyway, the reason I\u2019m particularly excited is that he\u2019s brought the\nother bag of biscuits that he went and got for me. I haven\u2019t eaten all of the\nlast packet yet, but it\u2019s always good to know you aren\u2019t going to run out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To be frank, the other thing that gets me excited is that our\nMistress does more cooking when our Master is home. I\u2019m rather hoping to\nbenefit. It can\u2019t be helped that Wilma is on a diet so will not be the one to\nsample things. I shall of course show her some sympathy\u2026 but not much!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
