Deliveries to this house seem to have gone out of control. It\u2019s\nnot so much that there are too many, as far as I\u2019m concerned any are too many\nbut that\u2019s another story. Yesterday there must have been something in the air.\nIt\u2019s all part of our Mistress deciding to work from the summerhouse. She has\nordered a bell to go on the wall by the gate to make it easier if people call\nfor them to get her attention without opening the gate. Anyway, It\u2019s a very\nnice bell but that wasn\u2019t the odd thing. She received an email to say it would\narrive on 3rd<\/sup> of June, so she really wasn\u2019t expecting it just yet.\nShe didn\u2019t mind, but that wasn\u2019t the only odd thing. She also ordered a new desk\nand selected the option for them to ring her to arrange delivery. After that\nshe got an email to say it was coming on Monday, but as that wasn\u2019t too bad she\ndecided not to follow it up. Then yesterday the phone rang and a man wanted to\ncheck exactly where we lived as he was about to deliver it there and then. So\nmuch for choosing selecting a delivery time. Luckily she was here. On the\nbright side, that means my sleep won\u2019t be so disturbed on Monday or the 3rd<\/sup>\nof June come to that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n To be honest, working in the summerhouse seems a bit optimistic\ngiven how much rain we are having. It\u2019s like someone has turned a tap on and\nthen gone away to do something else and forgotten about it. Our Mistress is\ntrying (and failing) to dodge the showers to walk the other three and I\u2019m fed\nup with squelching my way around the back garden. Getting wet going swimming is\none thing. I get towelled dry and then the hair dryer. I don\u2019t get that every\ntime I go into the back garden. Oh I can be towelled dry, but I don\u2019t get a big\nfluffy towel and then my dressing gown put on when I\u2019m done. I think my daily\ncare at home needs a bit of an upgrade in this weather.
