Oh I wish I\u2019d looked after my teeth<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Oh I wish I\u2019d looked after my teeth! In this instance I\u2019m not about to start reciting the Pam Ayres poem that our Mistress quite likes. I\u2019m genuinely regretting that I have not looked after my teeth better. Listen up you young pups. You just don\u2019t know how long your teeth are going to have to last you. There was me thinking that they\u2019d always be with me, but it does rather seem as though I\u2019m in the process of outliving them. Our Mistress is going to ring the vet to make an appointment for me. My gums are really a bit sore and much as she tried to get a toothbrush on them I simply would not cooperate. She says I\u2019ve got bad breath too, which I find a little rude of her. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s not that I\u2019ve spent my life eating sugary snacks or had\nfizzy drinks. I\u2019ve been quite a good dog when it comes to diet. It just seems\nthat teeth need cleaning more than I\u2019ve actually been doing. It turns out there\nmay be a lesson in this for all of us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thinking time<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our Mistress said she needed some time out yesterday to do\nsome thinking. She chose to do it outside on the new seat and Aristotle went to\njoin her. He said he\u2019s good at thinking. It was fine for the first five minutes.\nThen Aristotle heard a horse going past so went to the gate to shout hello. No\nsooner had he settled down again than it started raining on them. That rather\nbrought the whole idea to an end. I think if it\u2019s fine they might try again\ntoday after swimming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aristotle\u2019s in a bad mood<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ari is not happy. His tag on his collar broke last week and\nour Mistress has had to order a new one. In the meantime, as she did not want\nhim to be without she has put the one from Wilma\u2019s \u2018best\u2019 collar on it. Wilma\nis the only member of the family who has a best collar, she\u2019s a very spoilt girl.\nAnyway, she\u2019s fine about Ari borrowing it, but he his not happy to be going\nround with the name \u2018Wilma\u2019 on his collar!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
