Wilma is one excited puppy. Oh I know she\u2019s nearly four years\nold, but she really is the puppy of the family. She can\u2019t wait to see our Master\nthis afternoon and has been promised a woodland walk with our humans all to\nherself tomorrow afternoon. Shadow is in a foul mood. She wants to go too, but\nis having to face the fact that at ten years old she is not as nimble as she\nused to be. She has been promised walks of her own, but they won\u2019t involve\ngoing miles along river banks and through woods. She says she rather likes the\nwalk they have in mind doing and she used to be able to do it, so she\u2019s feeling\nold. I said \u2018Join the club,\u2019 but she wasn\u2019t in the mood to care what I thought.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019ve been doing my exercises like the good boy I am. I can\u2019t\nsay I\u2019m keen and to be honest one of them runs of the risk of my falling over\nif I don\u2019t concentrate on which leg is which. It seems that my left knee isn\u2019t\nreally doing its thing, so I compensate by using my right leg. I\u2019ve I pick my right\nleg up at the wrong time then things go horribly wrong, never mind doing the Hokey\nCokey, I think that may now be beyond me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Of course you\u2019ve probably realised summer is finally here, at\nleast for a day or two. Our Mistress hasn\u2019t quite reached trusting the weather enough\nto put her shorts on, but she\u2019s not far off. Fashion really isn\u2019t her thing,\nunless shorts and walking boots become trendy, but it keeps her happy so who am\nI to complain. I\u2019m just looking forward to her putting a bed outside in the\nsunshine for me as I think that might do me good. Getting some warmth into\nthese joints would have to be a good thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
