Wilma is a happy girl. I know she told you that she won a prize\nat Fun Day, well she\u2019s decided she really really likes it. Skunk-badger as he\u2019s\nbecome known, due to his uncertain appearance, has joined Heffelump in the\nnightly bedtime rituals. I kid you not. Wilma has been following a similar\nroutine for a very long time. She leaves her toys upstairs near her bed and\nevery night when she goes up she is so pleased to see them that she pounces on\nthem and then runs around the bedroom squeaking them for a few minutes before\ntaking them to bed. She\u2019s a happy dog and quite easily pleased. She brings a\nsmile to this old dog\u2019s face that\u2019s for sure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This bit is harder. We\u2019re making preparations for me to move\ndownstairs to sleep. Our Mistress is doing her best to help me up and down, but\nthe reality is that it is getting ever more difficult for me to manage the stairs\nand it\u2019s hurting her back helping me. Anyway, we\u2019re making preparations to be\nused if the physio can\u2019t help me. There\u2019s a corner of the kitchen where some\nthings can be moved to other places and our Mistress has assured me she can\nmake room there for my big comfy bed without me being trampled on. It\u2019s going\nto be a wrench for both of us to be parted at night, but I really can\u2019t see her\nsleeping in the kitchen with me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Wilma has gone out for the day today. She\u2019s gone to see our\ngrandparents with our Mistress. We\u2019d all like to have gone, but our Mistress\nhas promised she won\u2019t be away for too long and it would have been a lot of\ntime in the car for us. I think Wilma\u2019s hoping they might find time to play\nball in the back garden while she\u2019s there. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
