Rainy days are bad<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s official, rainy days are bad. Forget anything I\u2019ve ever\nsaid before about liking mud. Scrap the fact I like running through puddles. My\npriorities have changed and Mum won\u2019t play ball with me when it\u2019s wet. She says\nthat the ball soaks up the water and then sprays it all over her when she\nthrows it. Frankly, I can\u2019t see the problem with that, but it meant she\ncompletely refused to even take my ball on our walk yesterday. I was appalled.\nI protested. Well, I moaned a bit for a minute or two, but then I went off to\nsplash in the puddles and mud instead to make the best of a bad situation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wet feet<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I did get the last laugh. Mum forgot to change out of her\nfavourite walking boots. You would think having walking boots on would be a\ngood thing, but the sole has split so she ended up with a wet foot. She is now\ntrying to bring herself to send them to the walking boot graveyard in the sky,\nbut she\u2019s really struggling with that one. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Good days and bad days<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Alfie had a really good day on Saturday. He managed all the\nstairs with no problems at all and no help from Mum. She got quite excited to\nsee how much better he was. Sadly it was only just the one day and yesterday he\nneeded help with steps all day and really couldn\u2019t get his back end to\ncooperate. Mum says we just have to hope he has some more days like Saturday\nwas. Mum is going to see if some physiotherapy might help him and has booked an\nappointment for next week. It\u2019s good as the physio can come here so Alfie doesn\u2019t\neven have to leave the house, so he won\u2019t be stressed about it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
