Friday Flashback<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Hello everyone, I\u2019m here with Friday Flashback once again. I\nstarted by looking right back to when Alfie was a puppy. That always makes me\nsmile. Here he is in 2006 taking about mud!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Muddy Dog<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I took Matilda\u2019s\nmistress for a walk. Matilda doesn\u2019t really tolerate going for a walk in\ncompany, cats can be like that! So I let her mistress come with me. It was\ngreat. I ran through all the mud and got absolutely filthy. I am sure my\nmistress is careful to go on the non-muddy paths to stop me doing that. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Matilda\u2019s mistress was a\nbit worried that I was going to need a bath but I have to say I have become a\nlittle vain. I rather like the contrast of the rich brown and white bits with\nthe rest of my black fur and work very hard to keep them looking good. Although\nmy mistress wiped my paws for me I\u2019d got the rest sorted in about half an hour.\nDoing it myself has the extra advantage of stringing out all the tastes from\nthe walk as I get to rediscover them matted deep into my coat.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I think the taboos for\nhuman beings are such a shame, they really do miss out on an awful lot of fun,\nmind you from observation humans do rather let themselves go and very few can\nreach to lick all the necessary places.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then in 2009 Shadow had not long moved to live with Alfie and\nthis is what he thought of her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cute Pee and Poo Machine<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Shadow scores highly on\nthe cute front, but she also scores top marks as a yappy, efficient pee and poo\nmachine. I don\u2019t bark in the house. If Shadow\u2019s awake then you certainly hear\nabout it. I\u2019m already growing to love the times she\u2019s asleep, when I can look\nat her fondly and forget the amount of noise she makes. So far this whole house\ntraining thing is more about theory than practice. The theory involves my\nMistress trying to guess the times she needs to go and taking her outside. The\npractice involves Shadow running back inside and peeing on the floor. The bucket\nis out and ready. The kitchen roll is being bulk purchased and my Mistress is\nready for a long slow learning process.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well I think that\u2019s all there\u2019s time for today. You wouldn\u2019t\nthink the pair of them are now 13 and 10. Shadow still barks a lot but she gave\nup on peeing and pooing in the house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
