Dull and boring<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our Mistress has decided she\u2019s dull and\nboring. She has thrown a challenge over to the four of us. Whichever of us who\ncan think of the best idea of what to do today will get their choice for the\nday. I don\u2019t know what to suggest as the weather will make a big difference to\nmine. Alfie has put in his suggestion to have our Mistress spending the day in\nthe kitchen cooking. He loves it when she cooks, firstly because it means she\nis in the room he\u2019s happiest in and secondly because she can be relied on to drop\nthings. Shadow is struggling to come up with any idea other than barking and\nbouncing, neither of which our Mistress is very keen on. Wilma rather predictably\nhas put in for a long walk, but given the amount of rain we\u2019ve had they may\nneed flippers. I\u2019m thinking it\u2019s a choice between spending all day in bed\nsnuggling up with a good book or pottering round the garden planting the\nvegetable seeds that would normally be in by now. I think I stand a good chance\nof winning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Preparing for Brexit<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our Mistress is leaving nothing to chance.\nShe has her International Driving Permits, her Green Card and now has GB\nstickers without the European flag. She\u2019s very sad about having to have any of\nthem, but she says she needs to be prepared for whatever happens. Shadow and\nWilma both have everything they need in their passports ready for travel. It\u2019s\nmade me wonder if I should get my passport sorted out too, just in case I want\nto go. I let mine lapse a few years ago so I\u2019d have to start from the\nbeginning, but I\u2019m starting to think I might like to. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyway, I\u2019m off to suggest the gardening\noption \u2013 wish me luck<\/p>\n\n\n\n
