There was Mum saying that I mustn\u2019t expect to\ndo very well in the show ring yesterday. Oh ye of little faith! I thought \u2018I\u2019ll\nshow her\u2019 and I did. I won my class, which she really didn\u2019t expect to happen\nand went on to be Reserve Best Bitch. I\u2019m now the proud owner of two more\nlovely rosettes and a very proud Mum. It was even better as my niece, Sybil,\nwon Best Bitch. Mama and Valeria will be so proud of us. It will mean I\nautomatically qualify for next year, so I can\u2019t retire from showing just yet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-discover-dogs\">Discover\nDogs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I\nhad already had a lovely morning looking after our Discover Dogs stand. It was\njust me on the stand yesterday morning so I had to work really really hard. I\nwas very good and behaved myself perfectly. Mum was busy talking to people she\nknew who had come to the show so I had to do most of the talking about the\nbreed for her. Once I had finished my time we went for a walk outside, but it\nwas really quite cold and miserable if you didn\u2019t keep moving. We couldn\u2019t go\ntoo far away as we had to be ready for the show ring. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/alfiedog.me.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/IMG_7516-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15832\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-rest-time\">Rest\ntime<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Mum\nbought me a new blanket so I could curl up and have a rest before I had to go\ninto the ring. It was purple so we were both happy. It matches my harness and\nof course is Mum\u2019s favourite colour. I did have a couple of times where I had a\nbit of a barking frenzy to let off steam. Mum asked if I could find a different\nway of doing it, but is seems I can\u2019t.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/alfiedog.me.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/IMG_7517-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15833\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Then\nwe had the long drive home, which meant we were both tired and want a bit of a rest\nthis morning. Mum says she will take me for a special walk too as I\u2019ve worked\nso hard. I just need to decide where I want to go.
