First\nDay of Crufts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Yesterday\nwas the first day of Crufts. You know it\u2019s Crufts because there is a big\ntraffic problem in the motorway and the journey takes forever. We went by\ncountry lanes instead of the motorway and passed through lots of places that I\ndidn\u2019t know existed. It meant Mum had a really bad headache before we even got there.\nThe weather was really miserable too and that didn\u2019t help our mood. Anyway,\nonce inside I knew where to go, so led Mum straight to our stand. Ruby and\nSybil were already there waiting and filled me in on what I\u2019d missed \u2013 which wasn\u2019t\nmuch thankfully. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Family<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I was\nreally happy to see Sybil and check how she\u2019s doing. She\u2019s one of my nieces and\nso like my sister Valeria in appearance. She\u2019s quite like her in behavior too\nand is a bit bossy at times. She was pleased to see me and Mum and we all sat\nand had a family cuddle. Later Edison-Eiger arrived. He\u2019s my nephew and one of\nSybil\u2019s brothers. He\u2019s looking good too. I had been looking forward to seeing\nSalvo and Izzy too, but they weren\u2019t there today which was a shame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adoring\nPublic<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We met\nour adoring public, which is always fun. I spent quite a bit of time looking\nafter Mum. She did make the point that if I hadn\u2019t got into a barking frenzy\nevery so often her headache would have felt much better. I can\u2019t help it if\nsome dogs gave me funny looks and I had to make clear I was boss. Unfortunately\nsome of them who were like that came and stood nearby for ages, so I did rather\nget carried away. A Bernese came by to play and so did a Great Swiss. I do love\nseeing my bigger cousins. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Swiss\nMagazine<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Then\na journalist from a Swiss Magazine which is writing about Crufts came by to see\nus. I tried to help with the photos but I got in a bit of a strop so Ruby took\nover. Mum wasn\u2019t very pleased with me, but she cuddled me anyway. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Going\nout for coffee<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Once\nwe\u2019d finished our shift Mum really wanted to get away from the crowds so we\nwent outside with a friend of hers who had come to meet up with us. There was\njust one tiny problem \u2013 it was really windy and rainy outside so not very nice\nfor a walk. In the end we found a shopping centre nearby and there was a coffee\nshop where we could sit and have a drink in the warm. Mum had a piece of Black\nForest Gateaux. She has asked me to remind her never to have that in the UK as\nthey just don\u2019t make it nearly so well. She felt quite disappointed. I said it\nserved her right for not sharing it with me. I do so hate being on a diet when\nother people are eating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Diet<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The\nworst of the day was that because I\u2019m on a diet I did not get bought an ice\ncream. Then Mum wonders why I barked so much. I think she\u2019s mean! Maybe she\nwill give in today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
