Our bench<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We\nfound it. We found it. We found the seat. I don\u2019t know which of us was more\nexcited. Ok, I lie, it was wasted on me but Mum was excited so I had to at\nleast show willing. The particular seat we found was the one we can see from\nour lounge. It is up on the hillside the other side of the village from us and\nis on a lovely sunny spot. Mum has looked at it regularly for the last ten\nmonths and thought she\u2019d like to go up to it. Well now she has. It was a lovely\nwalk up through the village and then out the other side on marked trails.\nObviously the signpost didn\u2019t say \u2018Wilma\u2019s bench is this way\u2019 but it was fairly\neasy to work out how to find it. Dad went and sat on one to begin with, but Mum\nsaid that one wouldn\u2019t do. She just had to find the right bench. Anyway, eventually\nwe came to it and we sat in the sunshine enjoying the view. You would be amazed\nhow excited Mum got being able to pick out our house down below. Now it\u2019s\nfairly obvious if we could see the bench from the lounge that we\u2019d be able to\nsee the lounge from the bench, but she still got excited. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After\nlunch we went to see Mama and my sister and the puppies. It\u2019s amazing how much\nthey\u2019ve grown since we saw them last week. I\u2019m still a bit wary of them, but\nmainly because I don\u2019t want Valeria to get cross with me. She can be scary when\nshe\u2019s cross. Mama loves spending time with Dad because he likes making a fuss\nof her. Mum says if I grow old looking like my own dear Mama then she will be\nvery happy as my Mama is quite beautiful. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My\nMountain<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Then\nwe went for another lovely walk at my mountain so that I\u2019d had plenty of\nexercise before a day in the car tomorrow. The snow is melting really fast now,\nso I took the opportunity to have a really good run in it and nibble a bit here\nand there. I\u2019m going to miss the snow. I can\u2019t wait until next winter when we\nhave some more. It\u2019s funny, Mum seems to think life\u2019s easier without it, but I\nthink she\u2019s a spoilsport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now\nI\u2019m all packed and ready to say my goodbyes for a few weeks. I hate leaving\nhere. Mum hates it too. We\u2019re going to have to look after each other and cheer\neach other up later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
