Today is one of those difficult days. The older I get the\nharder it becomes to part from my Mistress even for a short time. I know I\u2019m\ngoing to see her again in just a couple of weeks and I\u2019m in good health at the\nmoment, so there\u2019s no real reason to be concerned, but we both get a bit\nemotional over these farewells. I even had her asking me if I was sure I wouldn\u2019t\nlike to travel with them too. Part of me would but it\u2019s not that simple. Quite\napart from my passport not being up to date, I wouldn\u2019t cope with some of the\nthings it would mean me doing. I didn\u2019t cope last time we travelled, which is\nwhy I didn\u2019t renew my passport and that was over three years ago. Shadow has\npromised to take good care of me and Aristotle while the others are away. And I\u2019ll\ndo my best to look after Shadow in return.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019d had a few bad days with my dementia, but then\nyesterday was a good day and I did have such a lovely swim. It makes a big\ndifference to me when I\u2019m feeling ok and feel part of what is happening. I was\nhappy to kick my legs out and have a good workout. Shadow had a great time too.\nShe\u2019s really benefitting from her little walks and says she\u2019s feeling much\nbetter than she was. Ari just wants his bottom to get better so he can come for\na swim again too. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Wilma got excited yesterday as her entry papers for Crufts\nhave arrived. She was worried they wouldn\u2019t come in time, but now everything is\nsorted she\u2019s a happy dog. She was also very pleased when our Mistress realised\nas they\u2019d be staying in a hotel the day before there probably wasn\u2019t the\nopportunity to give her a bath. Our Mistress said that the hotel has a big\nshower and she\u2019s sure they won\u2019t mind if Wilma goes in that. She will have her\nown towels with her anyway, so there won\u2019t be a problem. Wilma was not\nimpressed!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
