Oh I know it only feels like spring, but I like\nit. Yesterday here was glorious. It started cold and frosty and I point blank\nrefused to spend longer in the garden than absolutely necessary. Later on\nthough, once it warmed up, I didn\u2019t object at all to the idea of a little walk.\nOur Mistress took me to the walk I like best so I could have a bit of a sniff\nand a wander. I have to say I really did enjoy it. Shadow said her leg didn\u2019t\nhurt so much when she went out. She\u2019s only doing five minutes a day at the\nmoment to try to build up a bit of strength. She\u2019s taking anti-inflammatories\ntoo and she says they are helping. There is however nothing better than warm\nweather and sunshine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I don\u2019t think Wilma told you about Shadow\u2019s\nvaccinations. Oh dear, I think our Mistress needs to buy some body armour.\nEither that or a straight-jacket for Shadow. Even after ten years of having it,\nshe has not reached a point of accepting having the Kennel Cough vaccine\nsquirted up her nose. To be fair I\u2019m not keen either. Shadow however needed to\nbe pinned down and was throwing her head around in such a way that our Mistress\nwas lucky that our vet didn\u2019t end up punching her by mistake. Our Mistress is\nsincerely glad that she doesn\u2019t have to go through that again for another\ntwelve months \u2013 at least with Shadow!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tonight our Mistress is going to the village\nbeetle drive. I had a picture in my head of small insects driving little cars\naround the village hall, but apparently it\u2019s not like that. It\u2019s a weirdly\naddictive game that humans enjoy and which we can\u2019t see the point to. It doesn\u2019t\ninvolve a ball, or chasing, or other dogs. I will never understand humans,\nhowever hard I try.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
