I\u2019ve not spotted cakes and\npresents, which may be an oversight, but today I am thirteen and a quarter and\nI intend to celebrate. Our Mistress has noticed a bit of a pattern in my dementia.\nWhen I\u2019m really bad if she then gives me some seaweed it\u2019s amazing how much\nbetter I feel. It\u2019s something to do with the nutrients, but neither one of us\nreally understands it. I have to tell her that\u2019s what I need, usually by digging\nup and eating the grass and mud until she realises. When she does realise, the\nimprovement is almost immediate. She says she would love to understand the\nscience behind it, but whatever it is we\u2019re both grateful. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sharing a crate<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" src=\"http:\/\/alfiedog.me.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/IMG_7290-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15716\" srcset=\"https:\/\/alfiesdiary.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/IMG_7290-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/alfiesdiary.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/IMG_7290.jpg 338w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><figcaption>Shadow being indignant<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Sharing the crate in the car with Shadow is not going totally\nto plan. Shadow is pretty indignant about it and complaining that I keep\nsitting on her. I\u2019m just trying to keep out of the way, but there is quite a\nbit of me. Our Mistress says it\u2019s funny seeing two heads in her mirror as we\nare both looking out of the window, me at one height and Shadow at another. I\u2019m\nnot really getting the hang of getting in and out yet. I don\u2019t feel as\nconfident on the ramp as I need to. Then when it came to getting out I wouldn\u2019t\nget out of the other door from the one I\u2019d gone in through. I just needed to go\nout the same way. Our Mistress really needs the benefit of the fresh air\nand exercise and Wilma has taken her in paw. Yesterday, our Mistress was\nfeeling down and didn\u2019t feel like going, but Wilma stood her ground and said it\nwould do our Mistress good. Of course, Wilma was right and was happy to make our\nMistress do two circuits of the walk for good measure.
