Well, I\u2019m writing this as a protest. Honestly, the way\nWilma talked about me yesterday you\u2019d think I\u2019d lost my marbles. Ok, so I\u2019m\nbetter some days than others and today is one of the better days, but she\u2019d be wise\nnot to underestimate me. In my head, I\u2019m still a dog in my prime. Ok, sometimes\nthat prime is lost in its own world, but for the most part I can remember what\nday of the week it is and if tested have no difficulty in naming the Prime\nMinister. Anyway, I know today\u2019s Tuesday and that means I go swimming. Shadow\nis coming again too as Aristotle is still being treated for his poorly bottom.\nHe\u2019s even got to the point of saying he can\u2019t wait to come swimming again, so I\nknow he\u2019s had enough of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Whilst our Master is busy disappearing under another pile\nof snow, we have been enjoying it being a little drier. Our Mistress took Wilma\nout yesterday afternoon and said she just wanted to make the most of the sunshine\nand keep walking. They did stop at two laps of their usual walk, but that was\nmore because our Mistress needed the loo than because she really wanted to come\nhome. There are some advantages of being a dog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Now correct me if I\u2019m wrong, but sometimes humans can set\nup ridiculous processes. Given that our Government is sailing our country\ntowards a rather unpleasant precipice, our Mistress is working with the whole \u2018hope\nfor the best, plan for the worst\u2019 scenario and trying to make sure she is\ncovered for whatever happens. She will be driving to Switzerland in early April\nand so is making sure she has everything which could be needed. Wilma is\nalready prepared, so now we are onto things for the car. She needs a Green Card\nfrom her insurers so that the car is covered and an International Driving\nPermit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
More to the point she needs TWO International Driving\nPermits. Liechtenstein may only be a small country but it is quite near our\nhouse in Switzerland and just in case she has reason to go there our Mistress\nsays it makes sense to have a permit. It is not however the same permit as you\nneed for other parts of Europe. Only humans could do things like that! It makes\nme glad I don\u2019t drive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
