On the one paw I get to play with lots of other\ndogs and that is always a good thing. I also get to see the lovely people in\nkennels who I like very much. However, on the other paw I don\u2019t get to see Mum and\nany day without being with Mum is not a good day. Mum has had to go to London\nfor a meeting. Thankfully, she doesn\u2019t do that very often. She is glad about\nthat too as she doesn\u2019t really like cities and she hates being without me even\nmore than I don\u2019t like being without her. I feel kind of sorry for her too as\nshe doesn\u2019t get to spend her day playing with other dogs, which really makes it\nno fun at all. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Change round<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Normally when we\u2019re\nall here, I get to share with Alfie and look after him. However, because Shadow\nhas taken to sharing a room with him during the day and they both appreciate\nlife being a bit quieter, I\u2019ve got to share with Aristotle. I don\u2019t really\nmind, but he has just rolled his eyes and suggested I keep to my own side of\nour room and not bother him too much. I thought he might appreciate being\njumped on, but it seems not. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Shadow\u2019s\nbirthday<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/alfiedog.me.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/IMG_7254-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15698\"\/><figcaption>Shadow<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Shadow had a\nnice birthday. She particularly enjoyed having some special time with Mum. Mum\nsaid she was trying to take a selfie of the two of them together, but Shadow\nhasn\u2019t lost her mischievous streak and kept ducking out of the way at the last\nminute. Mum did get some nice photos just of Shadow though, but I wasn\u2019t sure\nif one of them made her look as though she didn\u2019t actually have a body! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019m off to see\nif any of the other dogs are up for a game of chase.
