Wilma has been\ncaught out. Our Mistress was aware that Wilma was getting up to the vegetable troughs\nbut had not completely worked out how she was doing it. You have to remember\nthat Wilma is not stupid. We had caught her already standing on her hind legs\nto have a look to see if there was anything edible she could get to, but our\nMistress hadn\u2019t actually found how she had manage to be sitting there one day,\ngiven it\u2019s quite high. Now we know. I think on balance it is good news that she\ncan\u2019t just jump up. For one thing, at the moment there is no soil in them and\nmight have got a nasty surprise and hurt herself. As it turns out, she has\nfound her own steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Options<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our Mistress\nsays there are now several options. Option one she moves the roof box. Option\ntwo, she moves the vegetable troughs. Or option three she moves Wilma. I\u2019ve\nseen Wilma when she is feeling determined. Frankly, I don\u2019t think there is a\nhope of any of the three methods being successful now she\u2019s realised she can\nhelp herself to extra food. She tries to get my breakfast every morning, if our\nMistress isn\u2019t quick enough at spotting she\u2019s finished hers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Happy Dogs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Aristotle and\nWilma were both happy dogs yesterday. For the last few weeks our Mistress has\nbeen taking them on a different walk so she didn\u2019t get in the way of the\nfarmers. Yesterday she went back to the airfield which they all love. Aristotle\nwalked further than he\u2019s walked for a few weeks and came back saying he doesn\u2019t\nwant to give up going for walks after all. Wilma was positively bouncing and\nsaying she can\u2019t wait for her walk today. They even made me wonder if I\u2019d like\nto go for a little leg stretch, but I\u2019ll wait until it warms up a bit first. I\nshall go swimming today in some nice warm water and that will suit me fine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shadow was equally\nhappy yesterday as she walked round the village and she really does love to\nleave her scent everywhere so the other local dogs still know she about. Some\nthings never change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
