Lighter Nights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Now the thing is with lighter nights, you\u2019d\nthink we could be fooled into eating later. It doesn\u2019t work like that though. I\ncan only think we\u2019re all using more energy bouncing around hoping that spring\nis round the corner. We all want tea earlier than ever. If I\u2019m being honest, we\u2019re\npretty much ready for tea just after we\u2019ve finished breakfast. There is\nprobably room for a little snack between the two, but we wouldn\u2019t be averse to\nspending the whole day grazing. Ari is really fed up as his compost expeditions\nhave been stopped. If only we were left to our own devices a little more, I\u2019m\nsure we could rustle something up for ourselves in the kitchen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lovely walk<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

While dad was busy up a mountain in his snow\nshoes, I had a lovely, if very flat, walk around our area. I do miss the\nmountains but on the plus side it was sunny, there was blue sky and we did go\nto visit Mum\u2019s favourite tree. I\u2019m delighted to say the tree was looking well\nand is looking forward to spring almost as much as we are. Oh I know there is\nprobably a lot more winter to go yet, but the snowdrops are now being joined by\ncrocuses in the garden. There are still roses in bloom and the daffodils are\ncoming through nicely. I can\u2019t help but think if it snows now they are all\ngoing to get a bit of a shock!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Counting Down<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I looked on Mum\u2019s calendar and asked what she\nwas counting down to. I thought it must be Dad coming home next week, but then\nI realised the numbers weren\u2019t right. How silly of me. She\u2019s counting down to\ngoing for a walk with Pasha the Alpaca. I\u2019d like to meet him. After how she\u2019s\ndescribed him I really think we could be friends. I wonder if there is a\nprogramme anywhere for dogs to go walking with Alpacas or if that\u2019s only\navailable to humans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
