While we get to walk in the drizzle on a grey day along a path that is muddy, our Master went to try out his new snow shoes. I thought you might like to see what you\u2019re missing. Sadly, I didn\u2019t manage to take a photograph of the moment that a dog called Nutmeg jumped up our Mistress and put her very muddy paws on our Mistress\u2019s brand new cream jumper. Fortunately, it\u2019s all washed out ok, so we\u2019re still on speaking terms with the lovely Nutmeg. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/alfiedog.me.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Photo-1-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15619\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>To be honest, considering how horrible the\nweather was yesterday, it was amazing how many people were out at the same walk\nat the same time. We can normally go and see absolutely no one. We can walk a\nfull three to four miles and still see no one. Yesterday there were four cars\nparked as well as the people who had gone on foot. I\u2019ve never known it like\nthat. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/alfiedog.me.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Photo-2-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15620\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Alfie\u2019s bed<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>After a shaky start with his new bed, Alfie\nhas decided it is most definitely all right. Actually, between you and me, he\nsays it\u2019s better than just all right and he totally loves it. The problem at\nthe start was because the cushion is so deep, he was finding it hard to get his\nbalance getting in and out. He\u2019s mastered that now and has certainly found once\nhe\u2019s in it is very good for curling up in. Now I really want one of my own. I\nthink I need to discuss with our Mistress what changes we could make so I could\nfit one in my room. It just looks so comfortable. I\u2019d try it out, but it\u2019s\nupstairs and because of my bad legs I never go up there. Maybe I could just\nhave his old bed and that would be better than the one I\u2019ve got.
